Ab Mitte Juni suchen wir in einer großen Aktion das fahrradfreundlichste Geschäft der Stadt.

Wir, das ist ein Zusammenschluß von ADFC Darmstadt, BUND Darmstadt, Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen Kreisverband Darmstadt sowie dem IVDA e.V. Mit der Aktion möchten wir die Belange der Radfahrer mehr in den öffentlichen Fokus rücken, da in unseren Augen bisher der Radwegebau als einzig wirkungsvolle Maßnahme zur Radverkehrsförderung angesehen wird. Abgesehen von den Diskussionen um Sicherheit und Sinn von Radwegen sehen wir aber auch große Probleme, wenn man als Radfahrer an Start und Ziel sein Fahrrad nur schlecht abstellen kann.

Die Aktion ist derzeit in der heißen Phase der Vorbereitung: Informationen für Einzelhändler werden vorbereitet, die Flyer für Radfahrer werden vorbereitet und die zur Aktion gehörende Webseite wird erstellt.
